Anti- Inflammatory Foods

Updated: Sep 19, 2019

What is an anti-inflammatory "diet" and why should you be following one.

Chronic inflammation has been linked to health conditions ranging from heart disease, autoimmune diseases, and even cancers. Eating a diet rich in anti inflammatory foods can help alleviate symptoms associated with inflammation and even has the ability to reverse signs of certain diseases. I am a HUGE believer in the power of foods and truly believe that what we put in our bodies will effect us physically, mentally, and emotionally. .

Here is a list of foods that are generally said to reduce inflammation and to reduce bloating. I encourage you to add as many of these into your daily eating as possible. ☀️Leafy green vegetables ☀️Cruciferous vegetables ☀️Salmon and fatty fish ☀️Avocado ☀️Nuts such as almonds/walnuts ☀️Olive oil/ avocado oil ☀️Chia seeds ☀️Beets ☀️Berries ☀️Whole grains ☀️Apples ☀️Garlic ☀️Green tea
